Who We Are
Our Story
RawChurch.tv began as a group of ordinary Christ followers from the Duncan area with a hunger to do what Christ called us to do: make a difference. We didn’t start a church to compete with other churches but to make a difference in the lives of people who were not attending church. We wanted to impact those who felt unworthy, unloved and unlovable and those who thought church was intimidating and irrelevant. to their lives.
RawChurch.tv began gathering on May 30, 2008. Our meetings were initially in homes until our official launch on February 8, 2009. We realize you could do a thousand other things on a Sunday morning. So can we, but we’ve found a group of people who are willing to be real with us, walk with us, support us and give us a church experience that is anything but boring. There’s something different here. Come and see.
Mission
Our mission at RawChurch.tv is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ!
Vision
Our vision at RawChurch.tv is to be Relevant, Authentic, and World-Changing (R.A.W.).
Relevant: (Sunday Gatherings) We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. The church should communicate eternal truth in contemporary forms. (1 Corinthians 9:19-23)
Authentic: (Small Groups) We believe that followers of Christ should be real in their individual life, their relationship with others, and in their presentation of God's work. (Matthew 26:38, Ephesians 4:25-26, Philippians 1:6, Romans 8:29, Hebrews 12:1, 1 Corinthians 3:1-3)
World-Changing: (Strategic Missions) We believe in the Great Commission and that the church should be outwardly focused on sharing Christ's love with others, rather than inwardly focused or meeting our own needs. The "church" is not here for us, rather, we are the church, and we are here for the world. (Luke 5:30-32, Luke 15, Matthew 18:14)
